Dr. Alex Povazhnyak holds a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Lviv Polytechnic National University. Inspired by his own life-saving experience with chiropractic care, he pursued a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College, one of the oldest and most research-driven institutions in the field.
He continued his education with Board Certification in Chiropractic Physiotherapy, focusing on holistic rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Povazhnyak also attended Sherman College of Chiropractic, known for its traditional approach to spinal care and emphasis on hands-on adjustment techniques that support the nervous system.
While owning a chiropractic clinic in Oahu, Hawaii, Dr. Povazhnyak completed a General and Specialty Massage Therapy program at the State University of Hawaii, receiving certifications in a variety of techniques including medical massage. He worked extensively with cancer patients, further deepening his clinical experience.
Highly trained in a wide range of techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Torque Release, Dr. Povazhnyak also works with elite-level athletes through the FAKTR Rehab System.
Today, he specializes in Geriatric and Pediatric Chiropractic, developing personalized, gentle treatment plans for elderly patients, children, and expecting mothers. His mission is to help every individual achieve their full potential through tailored, evidence-informed chiropractic care.
