Jacqueline Reisner graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2010. Dr. Reisner is Board Certified and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Clinical special interests include orthopedics and sports medicine. In addition to conventional forms of therapy, Dr. Reisner uses advanced manual techniques for which she has received extensive training. Her experience includes hospital inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, and sports medicine at the New York Hospital for Special Surgery, ranked number one in the nation for orthopedics.
Dr. Reisner became a physical therapist because she had suffered sports injuries in high school and learned the value of helping others through physical therapy first hand by going through it herself. She considers this field an enjoyable and fulfilling challenge and regards the opportunity to provide patients who are in pain a better quality of life the greatest perk of her career.
Note: Dr. Reisner accepts some commercial insurance plans out of network as a NON-PARTICIPATING provider so you may be subject to a deductible. She does not accept Medicare. Because there are so many insurance plans out there, and because coverage for care varies widely for the types of services that we offer, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Before you start a care plan, our staff would be happy to verify your benefits and explain them to you at no charge. Patients are entitled to a statement of fees which will be provided to you by our office upon request. If your doctor does not participate with your specific insurance plan and you are responsible for payment, our office will include a courtesy claim form for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as per their payment guidelines.
